SEJARAH : BOLA SEPAK MULA DIMANA?

Menurut Bill Muray, pakar sejarah sepak bola, dalam bukunya The World Game: A History of Soccer, sepak bola sudah dimainkan sejak awal Masehi.

CHICKEN RUN OR CONSUMER RUN???

Dengar kata harga ayam dah naik. Asyik dengar naik jer...kalau keputusan Exam SPM, Exam PMR, dan UPSR naik prestasi memang dibanggakan..tapi bila harga barangan harian naik memang takleh nak bangga tapi bantah adala..hehehe

Dulu harga ayam sekilo rasanya masa tu dah rasa mahal dah RM5 sekilogram...sekarang dari RM5 ke RM6.50 pahtu ke RM7 pahtu ke RM8, la ni dah naik RM12....hm..apa nak dikata..pakat-pakat bela ayam kat rumah la, tapi kena pikir makanan ayam lak yang naik jugak rasanya..

Bukan apa, disebab dua tiga barangan penting naik harga, semua benda akan naik harga kecuali hujan ja tak naik2 punya..hahahhaa....

Ayam organik jugak mungkin akan naik tapi tak tentu sebab tak ramai yang mengusahakan ayam organik ni. So, harga dia mungkin maintain je kot...

Apa-apa pun..harga ayam tetap akan naik time-time musim perayaan.....

AYAH JAGA ANAK KECIL

Almaklumlah maknya sedang berkursus. Orang kata kalau jaga anak ni serah ja kat maknya tentu bereh punya....betul tu.

Abdullah bin Umar radhiallahu anhuma berkata: Aku mendengar Rasulullah shallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam bersabda:

(HR. Al-Bukhari no. 844 dan Muslim no. 1829)

Adakah cuma jarum kompas berubah arah?

DO YOU KNOW AIRPLANES?

Types of Airplanes
By Leo

Modern airplanes are divided into five main types:
1. Commercial Transport Planes
2. General Aviation Planes
3. Military Planes
4. Sea Planes
5. Special Purpose Planes

Commercial transport planes are large planes used for carrying passengers and sometimes cargo (also called airliners).

Four-engine jets are more powerful than most airliners. That’s because most airliners only travel 500 to 600 miles per hour or 805 to 966 kilometers per hour, and four-engine jets can travel faster and farther.

The Boeing 747 is a four-engine jet that unlike most airliners, can carry
1. 1,000 passengers
2. Less than 200 passengers
3. More than 400 passengers
4. 50 passengers

It can also carry six galleys (kitchens), twelve washrooms, and more than 47,000 gallons or 178,000 liters of fuel. In 1969, the Boeing 747 became the largest jet in the world. This airliner can fly 6,495 miles or 10,475 kilometers non-stop. That’s farther than the distance between New York City and Tokyo.

Four-engine jets are not the only kind of commercial transport planes. There are also three-engine jets and twin-engine jets.

As you probably can imagine, three-engine jets don’t travel as far as four-engine jets and need less runway to take-off and land. But some three-engine jets can carry as many passengers as four-engine jets.

Twin-engine jets are smaller than four or three-engine jets, but 90% of airliners today are twin-engine jets. Here’s a question for you:

Why do you think twin-engine jets are used the most?
1. Because they have less engine failures than three or four-engine jets
2. Because they cost less money to operate
3. Because people like the way they look

Now let’s learn a little bit about general aviation planes. Most general aviation planes have two to six seats, and one engine. General aviation planes are used for many purposes. Sometimes people use them to teach students how to fly a plane, or they are used to take pictures from a high-up view. Sometimes people use them for transportation, and sometimes people use them for enjoyment. Some farmers use them for planting seeds, checking soil erosion, and counting livestock.

Military planes, as you probably know, are planes used by the military. Most military planes are used to attack enemies on the ground or in the air. Some military planes are used to carry equipment and soldiers to bases or battlefields.

Sea planes are divided into three types:
1. Float Planes
2. Flying Boats
3. Amphibians

Float planes have big floats instead of wheels. Flying boats areA DeHavilland Single Otter Floatplane shaped like the hull of a boat, so they can stay on the water. Amphibians are:
1. Shaped like frogs
2. Able to go on land and water
3. Able to fly without any wings

Special purpose planes are planes that have special purposes such as performing tricks in shows or spraying chemicals on crops. Some amphibians also have a special purpose. They are used for putting out forest fires. They fly just above the lakes and ponds and suck up water so they can later spray it on forest fires.

So, there are a lot of different types of airplanes, and as we have learned, it’s because there are a lot of different jobs for airplanes to do.

BRAINS : WEIRDS AND FACTS ABOUT IT

The human brain is the most complex and least understood part of the human anatomy. There may be a lot we don’t know, but here are a few interesting facts that we’ve got covered.
  1. Nerve impulses to and from the brain travel as fast as 170 miles per hour. Ever wonder how you can react so fast to things around you or why that stubbed toe hurts right away? It’s due to the superspeedy movement of nerve impulses from your brain to the rest of your body and vice versa, bringing reactions at the speed of a high powered luxury sports car.
  2. The brain operates on the same amount of power as 10watt light bulb. The cartoon image of a light bulb over your head when a great thought occurs isn’t too far off the mark. Your brain generates as much energy as a small light bulb even when you’re sleeping.
  3. The human brain cell can hold 5 times as much information as the Encyclopedia Britannica. Or any other encyclopedia for that matter. Scientists have yet to settle on a definitive amount, but the storage capacity of the brain in electronic terms is thought to be between 3 or even 1,000 terabytes. The National Archives of Britain, containing over 900 years of history, only takes up 70 terabytes, making your brain’s memory power pretty darn impressive.
  4. Your brain uses 20% of the oxygen that enters your bloodstream. The brain only makes up about 2% of our body mass, yet consumes more oxygen than any other organ in the body, making it extremely susceptible to damage related to oxygen deprivation. So breathe deep to keep your brain happy and swimming in oxygenated cells.
  5. The brain is much more active at night than during the day. Logically, you would think that all the moving around, complicated calculations and tasks and general interaction we do on a daily basis during our working hours would take a lot more brain power than, say, lying in bed. Turns out, the opposite is true. When you turn off your brain turns on. Scientists don’t yet know why this is but you can thank the hard work of your brain while you sleep for all those pleasant dreams.
  6. Scientists say the higher your I.Q. the more you dream. While this may be true, don’t take it as a sign you’re mentally lacking if you can’t recall your dreams. Most of us don’t remember many of our dreams and the average length of most dreams is only 23 seconds–barely long enough to register.
  7. Neurons continue to grow throughout human life. For years scientists and doctors thought that brain and neural tissue couldn’t grow or regenerate. While it doesn’t act in the same manner as tissues in many other parts of the body, neurons can and do grow throughout your life, adding a whole new dimension to the study of the brain and the illnesses that affect it.
  8. Information travels at different speeds within different types of neurons. Not all neurons are the same. There are a few different types within the body and transmission along these different kinds can be as slow as 0.5 meters/sec or as fast as 120 meters/sec.
  9. The brain itself cannot feel pain. While the brain might be the pain center when you cut your finger or burn yourself, the brain itself does not have pain receptors and cannot feel pain. That doesn’t mean your head can’t hurt. The brain is surrounded by loads of tissues, nerves and blood vessels that are plenty receptive to pain and can give you a pounding headache.
  10. 80% of the brain is water. Your brain isn’t the firm, gray mass you’ve seen on TV. Living brain tissue is a squishy, pink and jellylike organ thanks to the loads of blood and high water content of the tissue. So the next time you’re feeling dehydrated get a drink to keep your brain hydrated.

Long Jack and Tongkat Ali...Apa tu???

Long Jack also known as Tongkat Ali is a species of Simaroubaceae family and also known in Nusantara as Penawar Pahit, Bedara Pahit, Tongkat Baginda, Pasak bumi and Setunjang Bumi.

This kind of herbs is familiar as a sex medicine and can tune back your inner energy. Nowadays, we can see many coffee manufacturer use Long Jack as an ingredient in their coffee product.

There are much theory to select the best Tongkat Ali and I also heard tha
t Tongkat Ali also produced some kind of natural drug (steroid) which make the user who consume Tongkat Ali will gain energy and power to 'sail on night'. So, in my opinion, we must be a good users and also brilliant consumer which must know a few thing about tongkat ali product before we decide to take it as our daily medicine:

1) Investigate whether the manufacturer get a good source which is the original and matured of tongkat ali.
